Het verhaal sleept zich tot het einde voort terwijl er zo af en toe een kleine verrassing in de rechtbank gebeurd. Als Nederlander is de Holocaust iets wat bij jong en oud bekend is en WO II wordt nog steeds herdacht. De uitleg van de verschrikkelijke\u00a0gebeurtenissen is dan ook vooral voor de Amerikanen.
