Het valt op dat de de hele film een zwart-witte toon heeft, zelfs de militairen zijn in zwart-witte camouflage. Jammer is dat ook goed en slecht heel zwart-wit is: Amerika vs. China. Verder gewoon een heerlijke Science Fiction met de standaard problemen zoals tijdreizen en liefde.
